This handmade cutting board, carved from ash wood and North American black walnut wood, is characterized by its minimalist design and refined details. A cutting board inspired by its unique identity, woven into the patterns of its grain, presents an extraordinary example of high quality.

The edges of the cutting board are beveled to prevent splintering and ensure user safety. The cutting board has been treated several times with pure Tung oil and sealed with a mixture of Tung oil and pure beeswax. Both pure Tung oil and pure beeswax are food safe. The advantage of Tung oil is that it penetrates deep into the wood and therefore provides excellent protection for the cutting board against moisture absorption.

The cutting board is carefully wrapped in a sturdy paper layer, after which it is wrapped in bubble wrap and then packed in a sturdy cardboard box.

Take good care of your cutting board to extend its life.
Dry wooden cutting boards are susceptible to damage, cracks and splinters.
Treating your cutting board with oil is the best way to prevent drying and extend the life of your board. You can use Tung oil or mineral oils.
For optimal results, treat your cutting board every 3-6 months with pure Tung oil or once a month with a mineral oil. The drying time of pure Tung oil is 7-14 days and on average 1 day for a mineral oil.
